TypeMasti started as a word-typing app for Rudransh, the founder's son: see a picture, hear the word, type it, earn a star. He learned his spellings and the names of a few hundred things on it, and kept the 1,390 stars to show for it.

It also showed what was wrong with most learning apps, including that one. It tested before it taught. A child who did not know the answer learned, first of all, that this was a place where he got things wrong.

So the version you see now is built the other way round. Masti teaches the idea first, a wrong answer is never red, help is one tap away until the Check at the end, and only that Check counts. Four worlds, a path of lessons for each age band that grows every week, ten minutes a day, with a report a parent can read in a minute.
