Terms of service

The service

TypeMasti is a learning app for children under 10: lessons in letters and words, numbers, thinking and the world around them, guided by Masti the elephant, with an AI buddy, a weekly report for parents and tools for schools. TypeMasti is an initiative by InfiWebs. It is run by InfiWebs Pvt. Ltd., Pune, India, which is the party to these terms. By creating an account you agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy.

Your account

• The parent or guardian is the account holder. You must be 18 or older and the parent or lawful guardian of each child you add.
• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. There is no password, so keep your email account safe.
• The parent area sits behind a grown-ups gate. Keep it between your children and settings, plans and payments.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including profiles you create and seats you add.
• For a school, the school admin is the account holder and confirms that it holds each parent's consent for every child it adds.

Free trial and plans

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with everything unlocked. A payment method (a card or UPI AutoPay) is set up through Razorpay when the trial starts; nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the plan you chose begins and the first payment is taken automatically, so lessons are never interrupted. You can cancel at any time during the trial from the Plan page: the plan stops at once and nothing is ever charged.

The trial is offered once per parent account, on the first plan only. If you cancel and later come back, the new plan starts immediately and is charged right away. School plans follow the same rules per seat.

• Parent monthly: ₹299 per month, with 2 child seats included.
• Parent yearly: ₹2,990 per year, with 2 child seats included.
• Extra child seats: ₹99 per month or ₹990 per year each, billed with your plan and renewing with it.
• School: ₹999 per seat per year, invoiced, with seats added at any time.

The price shown is the price you pay. If a price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal and we email you at least 30 days before.

Payment and renewal

Payments are made through Razorpay, using the payment method set up when the trial started. Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year, and extra seats renew with the plan, until you cancel. We email you before the first payment and before each renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we email you so you can update the payment method; the plan pauses until it is paid, and your children's progress waits for you.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from Plan in the parent area. During the trial, cancelling stops the plan at once and nothing is charged. After the trial, cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and your children keep every star, medal and lesson until then. Progress stays on your account after a plan ends, until you delete a child profile or ask us to.

Refunds

Because every parent can try everything free for seven days and cancel without charge, payments are not refunded: not the first payment, not renewals, not plans started after a return. A charge taken in error (for example a duplicate) is corrected within 7 working days. The refund policy has the detail.

Acceptable use

• Use TypeMasti for your own children or, for a school, for pupils whose parents have consented.
• Do not share your account, resell access or create profiles for children who are not in your care.
• Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to collect data about other users.
• Do not use Masti Buddy to produce content that is unsafe for children. It is built to refuse, and we may suspend accounts that keep trying.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We tell you why, unless the law stops us.

Content and ownership

The lessons, art, voices, Masti and the software are owned by InfiWebs Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the app while your plan is active.

Your child's progress is yours: download it from Settings at any time. Things your child types into the app belong to you; you give us permission to process them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. We do not use your child's data to train AI models.

Availability

We aim to keep TypeMasti available around the clock, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or remove features and will give notice of changes that matter to you. If we ever close the service, we tell you at least 30 days ahead and give you time to download your child's data.

Our responsibility to you

We provide TypeMasti with reasonable care and skill. It supports learning; it does not replace school, a teacher or professional advice, and we do not promise any particular learning result.

We are not responsible for losses caused by things outside our control, such as your internet connection, your device, or a failure at Razorpay or another provider. For anything that is our fault, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Indian consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there is a dispute, write to [email protected] first; we will try to settle it within 30 days. If we cannot, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For a change that affects your rights or what you pay, we email you at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, cancel before then and the old terms apply until your paid period ends.
